An Alabama man has been arrested on four total charges for allegedly shoving and injuring a man over a handicapped parking space at Fatz Cafe in Winder earlier this month.

Morris Ellis of Vestavia Hills, Alabama is accused of shoving Danny Payne to the ground outside the restaurant around 7 p.m. on March 3rd, injuring Payne's head, according to a press statement from the Barrow County Sheriff's Office.

Ellis apparently did not see the handicapped placard in Payne's vehicle, and assumed Payne was parked in the spot illegally.

Ellis was arrested in Alabama and booked into a Birmingham-area jail, and was extradited to Winder on Monday. He's charged with two counts each of aggravated battery and battery.

The restaurant is located on Atlanta Highway.
