GAINESVILLE — Jackson Dyer drove in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth to lift Norh Hall to a 8-7 win over Fannin County on Tuesday in Gainesville.
Charlie Erickson came on in relief to earn his first varsity win for the Trojans (9-3), pitching 2 2/3 innings, yielding just one hit while striking out one batter.
North Hall racked up 10 hits to help overcome five errors on defense.
Dyer, who finished with three RBI, David Seavey and Reese Olson each provided two hits for the Trojans, including a double and three runs scored for Seavey. Olson also drove in two runs while also starting on the mound. He went 5 1/3 innings, allowing six hits and two earned runs while striking out seven batters.
Caleb Clark also had a hit and drove in two runs, while Dylan Wiley added a double.
North Hall travels to Fannin County for a doubleheader on Friday.
