SUGAR HILL — The Gainesville girls golf team finished in a tie for eighth place Saturday at The Lady Wolves Invite, hosted by Buford and Bear's Best Golf Club.
Gainesville with a team score of 189. Morgan Nichol, Karina Collins, Ashlyn Burch and Kaylee Bautista all contributed for the Lady Red Elephants.
Woodward Academy won the event with a team total 145. Marist finished second and Mill Creek was third.
