Gwinnett County looking for bilingual poll workers

Posted 6:00AM on Monday 19th February 2018 ( 6 years ago )
With an election day coming up in March, Gwinnett County officials say they are in desperate need of bilingual poll workers.

The county is hosting hiring events this Wednesday and Saturday to help fill the voids. Elections Director Lynn Ledford says they are most in need of bilingual poll workers because the county is obligated to use bilingual ballots this year.

Ledford says being a poll worker pays form $75 to $300 per day. She adds it is a great way to pick up extra cash and gain valuable work experience.

Ledford says there are 156 polling locations in the county.

Those interested can attend the events listed below.  Ledford says individuals can also apply online.
