Hall chamber's annual Transportation Forum set for March 8

The Greater Hall Chamber’s Annual Transportation Forum is Thursday, March 8 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on the University of North Georgia Gainesville Campus.

This lunch meeting is open to the public.  Speakers will include officials from the Georgia Department of Transportation as well as representatives from the Gainesville-Hall County Metropolitan Planning Organization.

Russell McMurry, GDOT Commissioner, will be guest speaker.   Also on the program is Brent Cook, GDOT District 1 Engineer, who oversees the 21 counties in northeast Georgia that makeup District 1, which includes Hall County.

Cost:  $20 Chamber Members; $25 Non-Members and at the door; and, includes a Boxed Lunch.  The Transportation Forum is presented by Pinnacle Bank and Rochester & Associates. Additional sponsors are Coca-Cola of Gainesville, Highland Mountain Beverage, McDonald's, AccessWDUN and The Times.
