Busch made his last start in the event in 2016, where he failed to finish after multiple on track issue. In the end, he was credited with a 24th place result.

Last year’s event saw a pair of Peach State drivers sweep the weekend, as Senoia, Georgia’s Bubba Pollard won the Super Late Model feature, while Jasper, Georgia’s Chandler Smith was victorious in the Pro Late Model feature.

SpeedFest 2019 is slated for January 24-25, with the ARCA/CRA Super Series Super Late Models racing for 200 laps, while the Pro Late Model JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will compete in a 125 lap race.
