Two funeral services are planned this week for the DeKalb County police officer who was killed in the line of duty last week - one in Dunwoody, the other in Flowery Branch.

Edgar Isidro Flores, 24, Decatur, was shot and killed during a traffic stop Thursday.

He was a native of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, who grew up in Habersham County, graduating from Habersham Central High School, and the University of North Georgia.  His parents still live in Habersham County.

His body was returned to Habersham County Saturday morning via a motorcade from DeKalb County.

One funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody.  The other is planned Wednesday at 11:00 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch.   Burial will be Wednesday in Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest.
