The Gainesville Department of Water Resources is in the process of draining the Georgia Highway 52 water tank for maintenance purposes, according to a notice published by the city late Friday afternoon.
Work is scheduled to be finished on Saturday.
"Water may be visible from Highway 365 near the intersection with Highway 52 (inside the wooded area near the tank)," according to the posting.
