It may be the off-season, but that doesn't mean there's not still plenty of things to talk about.

On this week's Hard Left Turn podcast, Brandon Reed and Pete McCole take a look at several items from the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season, including:

-Brandon and Pete give their takes on the best race of the season.  Believe it or not, they agree!

-What was the biggest surprise?  Was it the lack of performance of Camaro?  Was it the so called "Young Guns" being over shadowed by veterans?  Or was it something else?

-We also discuss the pressure on the drivers to perform on the track - who is responsible?  How do we change it?  Brandon and Pete discuss this at length.

-Is NASCAR for sale?  Who might be interested in buying?  If it does sell, what kind of effect could that have on the sport in general?

-Pete and Brandon discuss their thoughts in general of the 2018 season.
