CARROLLTON — The Flowery Branch girls got their first win of the season Saturday knocking off Douglass, 62-53, at Carrollton High School.
Ashlee Locke paced the Lady Falcons (1-1) with 22 points. Caroline Wysocki added 17 points, Ashley Scott had 11 and Ashley Woodroffe 10 points for Flowery Branch.
Flowery Branch trailed 14-11 after the first quarter but rallied to tie the game at 29 by halftime. The Lady Falcons took control in the second half outscoring Douglass 14-9 in the third quarter and 19-15 in the fourth.
The Lady Falcons will be back in action on Thursday playing host to Dawson County in a rematch of both teams' season openers, a 65-57 Lady Tigers win in Dawsonville last week.

WOODWARD ACADEMY 50
The Lady Warriors also got their first win of the season with a solid showing on the road Saturday in College Park.
White County (1-2) led nearly the entire way running out to an 18-14 advantage after the first quarter. The Lady Warriors stretched it to 33-27 by halftime and then blew the game open with a 19-8 third quarter for a 52-35 lead.
Bentley Cronic led five players in double figures with 15 points. Maddie Futch added 13 points, Naomi Crumley 12, and Ellie Gearing and Dasha Cannon each had 10 points for White County.
Sydney Bowles poured in a game-high 21 points for Woodward Academy (0-3). The Lady War Eagles were able to stay in the game hitting 13-of-22 free throws while White County was just 2-of-7 from the line in the contest.
White County next will travel to rival North Hall on Tuesday.
