Raccoons, rodents, deer - all of those critters and more can be a real nuisance to folks who live in both rural and urban settings.
The Hall County Conservation District is offering some help in the way of a free seminar for area residents who need some pointers on how to discourage pesky wildlife from moving onto their property.
Irenee Payne, District Program Assistant, said the seminar is designed to teach the community the safest and most efficient ways to manage invasive and nuisance species. She said presenters not only will discuss the best ways to discourage deer and feral hogs from taking up residence on personal property, but they'll also have pointers on managing invasive insects and plants, as well.
While the seminar is free, organizers ask that interested persons register, since the Chestatee/Chattahoochee Resource & Conservation Development Council is providing lunch. Find the registration form at this link.
