An Auburn man faces three felony charges following a fatal shooting Tuesday at a Buford restaurant.

Gwinnett Police Cpl. Wilbert Rundles said Jerome Daniel Colvin, 34, shot and killed Allen Craig Willard Jr., 25, Suwanee after an argument at a restaurant on South Lee Street around noon.

"Warrants have been obtained for his arrest for felony murder, malice murder and aggravated assault," Rundles said.

Rundles said the argument moved from the restaurant onto the street and that is where Willard was killed.

"It appears they were crossing the road and that is where the shooting took place - right in the middle of the roadway," Rundles said.

Rundles said the two had been co-workers for several years.

"They were co-workers at a shop in the Buford area," said Rundles. "They worked together for several years."

Rundles said investigators have not yet determined what started the argument and asked if there is anyone who witnessed the shooting, who has not already spoken to investigators, to please contact the Gwinnett County Police Department.
