ATLANTA – The Atlanta United's match against New York City FC on Sunday for Leg Two of the Eastern Conference semifinals will now kick-off at 5:30 p.m.; kickoff was originally scheduled for 5 p.m. The match will still be televised live on ESPN.
Atlanta defeated NYCFC 1-0 in Leg One of the Eastern Conference semifinals last Sunday behind Eric Remedi’s first club goal. Now heading into the return leg at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta needs at least a draw to advance to the Eastern Conference finals to play either New York Red Bulls or Columbus Crew SC. That series will start on Sunday, Nov. 25 regardless of the opponent.
