GBI: UGA professor decided to retire while being investigated

A UGA professor being investigated by the GBI decided it's time to retire, according to the Atlanta Journal-Consitution.
 
The GBI said school officials accused Professor of Fisheries Research Douglas Peterson of adding a consulting fee to each sale of UGA-harvested caviar from fish grown at the school's fishery center in northwest Georgia.
 
UGA began selling the caviar from in 2009 and originally Peterson proposed a 50-50 profit-sharing agreement but school officials called that "unacceptable".

No arrests have been made and Peterson denies any wrongdoing.
