GAINESVILLE — North Hall football continued its onslaught of Region 7-3A on Friday.

One week after scoring 62 points in a win over Fannin County, the Trojans lit up Lumpkin County for a 70-0 victory at The Brrickyard and keep their hopes of a home playoff berth well within their own grasp.

North Hall travels to East Hall next week knowing that a win over the Vikings would set up a showdown for the No. 2 seed in 7-3A with Dawson County on Nov. 2 (Greater Atlanta Christian continues to maintain a stranglehold on the top seed).

Certainly the Trojans (7-1, 3-1 Region 7-3A) seem to be hitting stride.

North Hall rolled up 435 yards of offense and allowed just 120 to the Indians (3-5, 1-3). The Trojans sprinted to a 28-0 lead in the first quarter, scoring on runs of 53, 67, 2, and 61 yards in the process. JT Fair and Daniel Jackson split the honors, each scoring two touchdowns.

Jackson finished the game with 5 carries for 123 yards and 3 scores, while Fair had 2 carries for 120 yards.

Quarterback David Seavey got in on the act in the second quarter, tossing touchdown passes to Fair and Luke Volle. Seavey complete 5 of 5 passes for 79 yards.

North Hall finished with 356 yards rushing on 24 carries.

Lumpkin County rushed for 111 yards.

The Indians play host to Fannin County next week in a crucial contest between two teams looking to grab a playoff spot.

North Hall's Daniel Jackson, left, runs downfield in the Trojans' win over Lumpkin County on Friday in Gainesville.
