Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal single-vehicle crash Saturday as a Gainesville man.
Around 6 p.m. Thomas Bradley Garrett, 29, was headed east on Lakeland Road in Gainesville, negotiating a curve, when his Chevrolet K-10 went off the road, according to an email statement from the Georgia State Patrol.
Garrett traveled approximately 181 feet before returning to the roadway, whereupon the vehicle rolled twice before coming to a stop in the westbound lane.
Garrett, the only occupant of the vehicle, was partially ejected and died of his injuries.
He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to troopers.
