The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia will be joining with Grace Episcopal Church of Gainesville for the church’s annual Blessing of Animals event to be held Sunday, October 7, at 2 p.m. The service will be held on the Brenau University Front Lawn, across from the church.
Pets/domestic animals of all shapes and sizes are welcome with their owners of all faiths to participate.
Those attending the service are invited to bring donations for HSNEGA. In addition to monetary donations, in-kind items on HSNEGA’s “Wish List” are welcome as well as gift cards to local grocery stores, office supply stores, pet stores or Walmart, Sam’s Club or Target.
