A Tucker man is facing charges for allegedly trafficking $53,000 worth of drugs in the Pendergrass area.
On Sunday, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene of a reported domestic disturbance on Old State Road, where they found Nathan Cole Crumley, 35, allegedly throwing bags of illegal narcotics out the window of his truck into the yard of a home, said Mitchell Posey, special agent in charge with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office.
Law enforcement seized more than three pounds of marijuana, a half-pound each of methamphetamine and psilocybin mushrooms, 9 grams (0.02 pounds) of heroin, 100 packs of marijuana gummies, 250 "vape vials" and $25,000 cash.
Crumley was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking heroin, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a Schedule 1 substance.
He was booked into the Jackson County Detention Center.
