Wrestling: Trojans nail down 4-AAA traditional title

MADISON — The North Hall wrestling team captured the Area 4-AAA traditional wrestling title on Saturday at Morgan County High School in Madison.  

The Trojans posted 289 team points over runner-up Jackson County's 206 points. All 14 North Hall competitors finished inside their respective weight classifications' top 6. And seven Trojans competed for area individual crowns, with six claiming titles.

Meanwhile, Lumpkin County finished third in the team standings, while Morgan County took fourth.

Qualified wrestlers advance to next week's state sectionals on Saturday at Greater Atlanta Christian Schools in Norcross.
