A motorcyclist from Cumming has been identified as the victim of a fatal accident in the Snellville area early in the week.
Snellville police officials told the Atlanta Journal Constitution the accident happened late Monday night on Scenic Highway near Dogwood Road. They said it appears 35-year-old Peter Castro was traveling north on Scenic Highway when tried to avoid a car making a left turn into a convenience store.
Castro lost control of the bike and was thrown into the road where another vehicle hit him.
Castro died at the scene.
Acording to the newspaper, there's no word yet on whether charges will be filed.
