Congressman Doug Collins of Gainesville, representative for the 9th Congressional District, will address the Riverside Military Academy Corps of Cadets and community on Monday, Jan. 29.
RMA officials said in a press statement the event will start at 8 a.m. in the Cervantes Theatre on Riverside Military Academy’s campus.
Representative Collins’ remarks will focus on the importance of honest living and hard work as keys to success.
“Riverside Military Academy has always fostered integrity and work ethic among its students. While mainstream culture seems to prize these values less each day, I believe America’s strength comes from the character of its citizens," Collins said when he accepted the invitation to speak to the Corps. "I’m proud of the focus that Riverside has placed on developing servant leaders and look forward to spending time with them this month.”
This event is free and open to the public, although space will be limited for those who would like to attend.
