Gwinnett County police have made an arrest in a Nov. 28, 2017 murder in Buford.
Cpl. Michele Pihera said in a press statement 20-year-old Tyler Schulte was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 20 at a family member's home on Duncan Ives Drive, a short distance away from the original crime scene on Express Lane.
Schulte faces a long list of charges in connection with the murder of 20-year-old Blake Schulte, the suspect's twin brother, and the assault of 16-year-old Alexander Scott, according to Pihera. In addition to the murder charge, Tyler Schulte face charges of aggravated assault, armed robbery and illegal possession of a controlled substance.
Pihera said it is possible there will be other arrests in the case. The motive in the shooting appears to be drug-related, according to Pihera.
At last report, the suspect remained in the Gwinnett County Jail.
