ATLANTA — If Saturday is any indication, don’t look for Georgia coaches or players to be rattled during Monday night’s College Football Playoff championship game Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The collective group looked composed and loose as they met a throng of reporters from across the world on the floor of Phillips Arena.

AccessWDUN Editor Morgan Lee and AccessWDUN reporter Jeff Hart were on hand to witness the Bulldogs’ first foray onto the grandest stage of them all.

They talked with former local stars Isaac Nauta (Buford), Ben Cleveland (Stephens County), and Elbert County’s Mecole Hardman, who battled with Cleveland and former Rabun County standout and current Georgia teammate Charlie Woerner in high school.

AccessWDUN Sports will be putting together several stories from the morning’s sessions, which featured several thousand vocal Georgia fans in the stands. A video feature on the northeast Georgia players who could make a difference for the Dogs will highlight the package.

Check back throughout the day for updated stories.
