CLEVELAND — Kaleb Crane has long been an impact player for White County football.
And, on Friday night, the senior standout made yet another big impression, rushing for 124 yards and three touchdowns on offense while also racking up 11 total tackles, including two sacks.
The Warriors needed every single one of Crane’s big moments, as they fended off Habersham Central 24-21 in Mt. Airy to move to 3-0 on the season.
For his performance, Crane has been named the Friday Game Night, Coca-Cola United Bottling Player of the Week.
Crane has been a key part of White County's resurgence under new coach Tim Cokely, leading the Warriors with 352 yards rushing and seven touchdowns on the season, helping to rebound the program from a 1-9 mark in 2016.
AccessWDUN sports and Friday Game Night editor Morgan Lee recently caught up with Krane to talk about his big night, White County football’s impressive turnaround and the atmosphere in Cleveland these days. (NOTE: To watch an interview with Crane, simply click "play" on the video above.)
