CLEVELAND — The Truett McConnell men's soccer team scored seven first-half goals in a 14-0 victory over Toccoa Falls Wednesday evening down at Toccoa.
The scoring started early in the game when Joao Costa scored the first goal 4 minutes into play.
At the 20-minute mark, the Bears started a run, scoring a goal in each of the next three minutes courtesy Giovanni Giraudo (20:03), Victor Clemente (21:10), and Lucas Mostajo (22:06). The Bears led 7-0 at the half.
TMU outshot Toccoa Falls 42-3 in the match for a season sweep.
The Bears will try to keep their momentum rolling as they travel to Reinhardt University Friday to face Brescia University. The game is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.
