LAWRENCEVILLE — The Gwinnett Braves are partnering with Minor League Baseball Charities to raise funds for Hurricane Harvey relief. Now through 2:30 p.m. EST on Sunday, September 3, the club is holding an online auction of last-of-their-kind game-used G-Braves’ road jerseys.

The gray road jerseys, featuring the “Gwinnett” wordmark and iconic Braves’ tomahawk on the front and each player’s last name and number on the back, are being worn for the last time in 2017. The G-Braves are undergoing a name change this off-season that will include new logos and uniforms for 2018.

Jerseys available for auction will be game-worn, but in washed condition. Bidding on each will start at $100.

Auction winners that are present for Gwinnett’s 1:05 p.m. game on Sunday, September 3 vs. Durham will be invited to the field after the game to meet their player (if he is present with the club) and get an autograph on the jersey. Winners that cannot attend Sunday’s game may receive their jersey with the player’s autograph already on it, but autographs are not guaranteed (based on player availability, as some are no longer with the Gwinnett Braves).

Notable jerseys available for auction will include, but are not limited to:

At this time, only the gray road jerseys are being made available for auction. White home jerseys and blue alternates are not part of the auction and are not currently for sale.
