Three men were arrested in Cleveland last Thursday after a traffic stop and subsequent search warrant led authorities to the seizure of over $50,000 worth of illicit narcotics.

Cleveland resident Bobby Joe Mullinax, 39, was stopped by officers with the Cleveland Police Department for an unknown traffic violation, which authorities say led to the immediate recovery of roughly one pound of methamphetamine, along with $1,700 cash.

Mullinax was arrested on scene and transported to the White County Detention Center.

"The investigation continued and led to the execution of a search warrant the following day at Keith and Bradley Talley's residence," explained Special Agent in Charge Mitchell Posey with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office. Posey said the residence was located in Cleveland on Stanley Nix Road.

"During the execution of the search warrant, an additional quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana and various Schedule II pills were seized," he continued.

Along with ARDEO agents, Posey said the search was carried out by officers with the White County Sheriff's Office, Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office and Department of Corrections K-9 Unit.

Authorities seized the following narcotics, worth an estimated $51,985 on the street, in their search:

Following the search, Patrick Keith Talley and Bradley Austin Talley were arrested and taken to the county detention center for booking.

Posey said that Mullinax was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.

Bradley Austin Talley was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of schedule II with intent to distribute.

Patrick Keith Talley faces the same charges as Bradley Talley, as well as an additional charge of trafficking methamphetamine.
