The Georgia Department of Transportation will close a single lane Wednesday of State Route 11/US 129, also known as Athens Highway, while work continues in the area.
Crews are relocating utility lines in between Sosebee Road and Blackstock Road in Jackson County between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Flagging operators will be on scene of the single lane closure.
