Jackson County has updated its government website, and it now includes up-to-date information on the Mulberry Watershed Partnership.

"This partnership is an eight month process to study the drainage basins which flow into the Mulberry River," said Sloan Meyer, county spokeswoman.

The county received an Evironmental Protection Division grant to try to protect the Mulberry River and its drainage into the Oconee River Basin.
