While the fiscal year that just ended in Hall County was strong, business leaders anticipate FY 2017 may be even better.
Tim Evans, the Vice President for Economic Development for the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, was a guest Thursday afternoon on WDUN's Afternoon News Wrap, and he said he believes Lanier Technical College and the University of North Georgia will be driving forces in the county's economic growth going forward.
Evans noted in the interview that 30 new and expanded companies made $200 million in capital investment in Hall County in FY 2016, bring more than 1,200 new jobs to the area.
