The annual Cracker Fly-In will be held July 8 at Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport in Gainesville.
The hours are 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
As usual a variety of flying machines will be on display, from World War I bi-planes to Huey and Cobra helicopters. Some pilots will be offering rides.
This is the 48th year for the event which is sponsored by the local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (Chapter 611). Organizers always emphasize that this is not an air show but a static display of aircraft.
