DEMOREST — Four people were hurt in a rear-end collision on Ga. 115 in the Fairview community Tuesday afternoon.

The wreck was reported at 4:02 p.m. on Ga. 115 at Fairview School Road, according to Georgia State Patrol Post 7 in Toccoa.

A 2011 Dodge Journey Crew driven by Tamara Nakeisha Loden, 28, of Cleveland was traveling east on Ga. 115 behind a 1994 Honda Accord LX driven by Cynthia Bruner, 50, of Cornelia.

Bruner had stopped her car to attempt a left turn onto Fairview School Road, according to GSP. Loden’s vehicle struck the rear of Bruner’s car, which then traveled off the south shoulder and struck a mailbox.

Loden and her passenger, 3-year-old Jolin Loden of Cleveland, were taken by ambulance to Habersham Medical Center for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries, according to GSP. Loden was cited for following too closely.

Bruner and her passenger, 15-year-old Alexa Moye of Cornelia, also were taken by ambulance to Habersham Medical Center for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries, according to GSP.

The road was dry at the time of the wreck, which shut down Ga. 115 in the area for a short time.
