EASTABOGA, Ala. - Jason Hiett drove to his second career Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series victory Saturday night with a win in the fifth annual B.J. Parker Memorial at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama.

The Oxford, Alabama racer led all 42 laps en route to the victory, which was worth a $4,200 payday.

As the race wound on, Hiett would use lap traffic to his advantage, as he held off challenges form Dallas Cooper, Tim Roszell and Austin Horton.

Cooper made one final charge over the final stages of the event, but Hiett was too strong, as he went on to cross under the checkered flag first.

Cooper would finish in second, with Roszell in third, Horton in fourth and Tim Busha in fifth.

Todd Morrow, Josh Adkins, Riley Hickman, T.J. Reaid and Chris Noah rounded out the top ten.

The next Southern All Stars event will be on Saturday, June 17 at the Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee.
