The Georgia Department of Labor’s (GDOL) Habersham Career Center will help ResCare HomeCare, Inc., a nursing and residential care company, recruit 20 direct-care employees in Clayton on Thursday, June 22. Ten employees will work in Rabun County and 10 in Fannin County, according to a press statement from GDOL.
The recruitment will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the labor department’s satellite office inside the Rabun County Employment Center located at 184 South Main St.
All applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED) and a valid driver’s license. Since the company will train the workers, no previous experience is required. Full-time and part-time jobs are available.
Applicants are encouraged to bring their resume and driver’s license and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.
