A 70-year-old motorcyclist from Duluth was killed Sunday afternoon when, according to authorities, a pickup, whose driver was DUI, turned into his path on Georgia 347.

Sgt. A.J. Allen of the Georgia State Patrol says William Frey's bike struck a pickup driven by Michael Jesperson, 63, Lawrenceville, as Jesperson attempted a left turn into a private driveway.

Jesperson, who was not hurt, has been charged with DUI, First Degree Homicide by Vehicle, and Failure to Yield While Turning Left.
