COLUMBUS — White County's Caroline Craig did not get to finish both rounds of the Class AAAA girls golf championship match -- but her 18-hole performance was pretty special.
The Lady Warriors' standout fired a 74 on Monday at Maple Ridge Golf Club in Columbus, good enough to tie for the low round with Blessed Trinity's Hannah Jones.
Thanks to the rains that soaked the state on Tuesday, the tournament was halted and Craig's Monday performance ended up standing as a final, meaning Craig shared state individual champion honors.
Her performance also helped White County to finish fifth overall, 20 shots off pace set by team champion Columbus. Lady Warriors teammate Karson Kimsey also fired an 85 to tie for 14th.
Jefferson's Caroline Martin also impressed at Maple Ridge, carding a 75 to finish alone in third place. The Lady Dragons finished eighth as a team (296). Meanwhile, West Hall's girls fired a 319, led by Olivia Young's 91.

CLASS AAA GIRLS: Union County shot its way to second place as a team, finishing behind Calhoun's 509 at Okefenokee Country Club in Blackshear. Madison Horinek paced the Lady Panthers, taking eighth place with a 168 (83, 85). Allison Horinek was 12th (174). Dawson County also carded a 632, led by Sydney Morgan's 191, while Lumpkin County put up a 654 paced by Sydney Bates' 185.
CLASS AAA BOYS: North Hall finished in seventh with a 639 at Lakeview Golf Club in Blackshear. Pierce County's 590 won the tournament. Bartley Forrester paced the Trojans, finishing 36 holes tied for 12th with a 151 (74, 77). Dawson County put up a 698. The Tigers' Hunter Burt tied for 17th with a 153 (78, 75).
CLASS AAAAAA GIRLS: Johns Creek won the crown with a 446 at Chicopee Woods Golf Club in Gainesville. Habersham Central finished in 13th with a 598. Catherine Lama put up a 184 (93, 91) to pace the Lady Raiders. Meanwhile, Gainesville took 14th with a 623. Vivian Robinson carded a 184 (92, 92) to lead the Lady Red Elephants.
CLASS AAAAA GIRLS: Starr's Mill won the event at Oak Mountain Golf Club in Carrollton with a 474, and Flowery Branch's Macie Hurst was not far off the individual pace, shooting a 162 (80, 82). Hurst finished sixth, seven shots behind low medalist Jocelyn Gao of Starr's Mill. The Lady Galcons carded a 672 as a team. Buford's girls put up a 580 to come in sixth. Kamryn Roberts led the Lady Wolves in 11th place with a 169 (81, 88). Johnson's girls, meanwhile, shot 643, led by Madison Stewart's 189 (90, 99).
CLASS A BOYS: Gordon Lee's team score of 303 won the rain-shortened, 18-hole event at Landing Golf Club in Warner Robins. Towns County tied for fourth with a 363. The Indians' Chase Williams tied for fifth (79). Commerce meanwhile shot 388, led by a 79 from Jeremy Davis, who also tied for fifth.
CLASS A GIRLS: Gordon Lee's 168 claimed the crown at Landing Golf Club in Warner Robins, while Commerce was fourth with a 198. McKenzie McRee paced the Lady Tigers in eighth individually (96). Towns County was sixth (221), led by Kenzie Jenkins, who tied for fifth (91).
CLASS AA BOYS: Model's 315 won the rain-shortened team title, while Rabun County was seventh (344) at Waynesboro Country Club. The Wildcats' Sam Speed tied 13th individually (79).
CLASS AA GIRLS: Vidalia won with a 164 at Applewood Golf Club in Keysville. Rabun County carded a 196 to finish eighth, led by Carrie Beck in 11th (89).
