Flags are flying at half staff Friday in Georgia to honor Bluffton native 1st Lt. Weston Lee.

Lt. Lee served the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and was killed while on patrol outside of Mosul, Iraq on April 29, 2017. He was 25.

Governor Nathan Deal issued a proclamation Wednesday stating that flag will be flown at half staff on all state buildings and grounds until sunset on Friday.
