State Bar of Georgia: Gainesville lawyer retains seat on Board of Governors

A Gainesville lawyer has been named to a new term as a representative to the State Bar of Georgia from the Gainesville-Northeastern Bar Association.

Nicki Noel Vaughan will continue as the circuit's Post 2 member of the state group's Board of Governors, according to a posting on the State Bar's Website.  Vaughan is Chief Assistant Public Defender- Juvenile in the Hall County Public Defender's Office.  The circuit's other seat on the Board of Governors is held by Mark William Alexander.

Among representatives chosen from nearby circuits are:  Barry King, Jefferson, Piedmont Circuit; Walter James Gordon, Sr., Hartwell, Northern Circuit; and, James T. Irvin, Toccoa, Mountain Circuit.
