Jochebed’s Hope ministry of Lakewood Baptist Church invites foster and adoptive moms from northeast Georgia to a special “Mother’s Day Brunch” Saturday, May 6, on the church campus.

“The brunch will be a great time of fellowship and encouragement,” says Jochebed’s Hope ministry coordinator, Teresa Grimes. “Beth Templeton, co-founder of www.HopeatHome.org will bring an inspirational message.”

The Jochebed’s Hope ministry began last year and is named for the birthmother of Moses.  The story of Moses is the first biblical account of an adoptive plan and can be found in Exodus 2:1-10.

The ministry’s information meetings, workshops and community outreach encourage believers to support and embrace adoption, orphan and foster care responsibilities, according to a press release from the church..

The free event begins at 9:30. Reservations are required.  Contact [email protected] or telephone 770.355-0437.
