FLOWERY BRANCH — The Flowery Branch girls soccer team secued the No. 2 seed in Region 8-AAAAA after taking a 6-0 victory over Walnut Grove Friday night.
Anna Grady recorded a hat trick for the Lady Falcons (9-6-1, 5-1 Region 8-AAAAA). Halie Windish, Callie Huff, and Caroline Wysocki each scored one goal for Flowery Branch.
Allyson Lusco had two assists. Glorismel Chavez, Morgan Wadsworth, and Windish added one assist each.
Catie Hughey and Kelsey Mathis combined for the shutout in goal.
The Lady Falcons next will take on Lanier at home on Tuesday.
