BUFORD — The Flowery Branch girls tennis team stormed into the Region 8-AAAAA championship match on Tuesday courtesy a 4-0 win over Loganville in Buford.
Annabelle Thomas helped lead the Lady Falcons (15-3) to the win courtesy a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles. Meanwhile, Olivia Nance won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
The Branch's No. 1 doubles team of Peyton Brick/Kylie McGuire won 6-2, 6-0. The No. 2 team of Brenna Martin/Marissa Barrett prevailed 6-2, 6-1.
Olivia Correa led 6-3, 1-0 at No. 2 singles when the match was halted.
Flowery Branch will take on host Buford for the 8-AAAAA crown at 5:30 p.m. at Buford.
