Woodstock police say former Atlanta Braves player Otis Nixon has been found safe.
Via Twitter, the police department issued the following message:
"UPDATE: Otis Nixon has been located and is safe. We appreciate the assistance from the public and media."
At this point, there is no word on where Nixon had been the last two days. His girlfriend reported the 58-year-old Nixon missing on Saturday after he failed to show up at a local golf course for a tee time.
Woodstock police had said earlier Monday they were following leads in Nixon's disappearance and did not suspect foul play.
