A woman has been arrested in Rabun County after authorities say they found her in possession of thousands of dollars worth of methamphetamine during a traffic stop Friday.

In a release, the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office said 26-year-old Taylor Alexis Mason was arrested by Rabun County and Clayton authorities after the stop that yielded about 50 grams of meth.

According to the ARDEO, the street value of that amount is over $5,000.

The release said authorities had received several complaints about Mason selling drugs, which led to an investigation into her that lasted several months.

Mason was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center and has been charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
