HALLCO Community Credit Union held a "groundbreaking" ceremony recently to officially kickoff the renovation of retail space in the Village Shoppes shopping center in Flowery Branch where it plans to open a branch early this summer. HALLCO leadership and board members put their names and initials in concrete to commemorate the occasion.
According to Joe Foster, President/CEO of HALLCO, “We are very excited to be opening the first Credit Union in Flowery Branch. This expansion and new branch demonstrate our ongoing commitment to servicing the financial needs of our communities and members.”
HALLCO selected Howe Construction, Inc., a design-build firm headquartered in Roswel, for the project. The firm, according to a press release from HALLCO, has been designing and building financial institutions for 18 years.
The office, at 5900 Spout Spring Road, will be HALLCO’s fourth location since opening in 1971. HALLCO has more than 12,000 members in Hall, White, Lumpkin, and Dawson counties.
