Hall County fire officials said a house was destroyed by fire in Flowery Branch Friday afternoon.
Fire Captain Zachary Brackett said crews found the 1,000 square foot structure fully involved in flames when they arrived at the home on Gainesville Street just south of McEver Road. He also said a brush fire was surrounding the building.
Brackett said crews remained on the scene into the afternoon to put out hot spots around the home.
No injuries have been reported and Brackett said the cause of the blaze is still unknown.
