The Forsyth County Arts Alliance (FCAA), a volunteer based organization in Forsyth County whose mission is to enrich the arts in Forsyth County through strategic support and financial stewardship, is pleased to announce and welcome four new members to their Board of Directors.
The newly ratified members are Catherine Keyser, Anna Lyle, Tony Peters and Jason Pruitt. These individuals will support the board’s efforts to continue the mission and vision of the organization. Dr. Linda Roberts-Betsch, FCAA Board Chair, stated “I anticipate that the new board members will gain as much as they give in helping the arts in Forsyth County remain vibrant and accessible.” The four new board members join ten incumbent members; Tammi Bramblett, Andy Burt, Sara Harrision, Lynn Jackson, Chris Jespersen, Ann Margaret Johnston, James McCoy, Laura Pate, Linda Roberts-Betsch and Kevin Tallant.
The FCAA is currently accepting applications for a part-time Executive Director who will work with the Board of Directors to continue the mission, vision and strategic plan of the organization. The Forsyth County Arts Alliance was created in 2008. The FCAA is the premier philanthropic arts organization in Forsyth County. Since 2008, the FCAA has awarded over $500,000 in grants and scholarships to promote the arts in our community. The Grant application process will begin in the April.
