FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch City Council gave second approval to three ordinances at their meeting Thursday evening.

The council unanimously agreed to approve the second readings of an ordinance to allow electric vehicle charging stations to be built in the city. They also approved second readings for an ordinance to give the city more flexibility with downtown property variances, as well as one that will require construction site operators to maintain control of their construction waste.

All three of the ordinances were given a first approval at the council's previous meeting on March 2.
