The Women’s College at Brenau University will host the fourth annual Women’s Leadership Colloquium Friday from 1:30-4:30 in the Hosch Theatre in the John S. Burd Center for the Performing Arts.

Students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the university will gather for conversations about the unique potential and challenges of women’s leadership, according to a press release from Brenau.

This year’s guest speakers include keynote speaker Catherine Dixon, a principal at ghSMART; Mary Kathryn Wells, CEO of Wells Marketing Agency; Kelley Castlin-Gacutan, educational consultant and former superintendent of Birmingham City Schools; Amy Whitley, retired vice president of human resources and chief diversity and inclusion officer for UPS; and Patty Wolfe, retired rear admiral of United States Navy Supply Corps.

“The caliber of our speakers this year is extraordinary,” said Debra Dobkins, dean of the Women’s College. “These women have been highly successful in a range of fields: education, business, human resources, marketing and the military. They are passionate about the work they do and are dedicated to the people they serve. Each speaker brings expertise, experience and a dynamic engagement with the world, not just in their roles as working women, but also in their roles as mothers and daughters, sisters and mentors.”

The event is free, but registration is required. Register at brenau.edu/about/leadershipcolloquium/. Contact Whitney Neveils at [email protected] or 770.534.6179 with any questions about the event.
