University of North Georgia senior outfielder Michael Gouge has been named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon. It is the second PBC weekly honor for Gouge this season.

The Lawrenceville native hit .600 (9-for-15) at the plate helping the No. 7 Nighthawks to a 4-0 week that included a sweep over Armstrong State. The senior hit three doubles and two home runs, slugging 1.200 on the week and added five walks for a .714 on-base percentage. He was also a perfect 4-for-4 in stolen bases.

Gouge and the Nighthawks will return to action tomorrow, March 14, traveling to Auburn Montgomery to take on the Warhawks at 4 p.m. CDT.
