Samuel John Franklin was placed in a foster home by the Hall County Department of Family and Children Services (DFACS) under a court order, according to Sgt. Danny Sridej, Oakwood Police spokesman.

Franklin was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray pants and red shoes. He does not have a cell phone.

The teen is required to take a daily medication, though police could not disclose the nature of Franklin's medical issues.

Anyone with information on Franklin's whereabouts is asked to contact Oakwood Police at (770) 534-2364.
